Facilities
The Playroom
This is one large, naturally lit room which has been cleverly designed (by one of our mums) using colours and textures to provide a stimulating and exciting play area. There are lots of toys to meet the developmental needs of children up to four years of age.
There is a soft play area for shape building (and knocking down) or for a comfy space to sit and read! There are slides, rockers and bikes to ride on, pushchairs and dolls for imaginary play and walkers for helping with those first steps.
We have lots of boxes organised into activities including cars, puzzles, building bricks, dressing up, lego and train tracks. Please feel free to open and explore all the boxes! There is a large play house complete with cooker and materials for a busy cook, a washing machine and for all our would-be Bob-The-Builders we have a large selection of tools and helmets.
We have a seating area for activity and snack time with little chairs for little bottoms, we also have highchairs for those ready to use them!
We have a good selection of books for all ages. During a session you can find a moment to read to a group of avid listeners. The books and videos are available for members to borrow.
There are separate toys, including activity 'A' frames, for the Baby Group Session and large soft covers to throw over the plastic mats to keep your little ones comfortable and warm.
The Kitchen
There is a large kitchen with sink, microwave, fridge, crockery, coffee maker, kettle and storage area.
The Toilet and Changing Facilities
We have a toilet and washbasin with a trainer potty and toddler seat. Just outside the toilet is a changing table with wet wipes and a supply of disposable nappies.
