About Us
Playgroup started in September 1999, in the back of a local bar. By October 2001 Playgroup had outgrown the bar and moved to its current location to become a non-profit making organisation.
The toys meet all the needs of children up to four years of age and all levels of development. Please feel free to explore the toy boxes as well! There is a soft play area with shapes to build with or for just sitting and reading. There are slides and rockers, bikes to ride on, pushchairs and houses for imaginative play or for helping with those first steps. We have lacing toys, puzzles and building bricks to help practice hand-eye co-ordination. At music time the children really enjoy shaking bells, banging on drums and dancing around to well-known nursery rhymes.
Parents are encouraged to organise activities such as arts and crafts, music and dance or story time.
Baby Group
Where there is demand we run sessions for small babies from 0 – 1 year old (or until your baby is walking confidently).
Other Activities
In summer we often meet at the beach or park and organise sessions and day trips for older children. We hold events throughout the year including a Summer Fair, a Halloween Party and a Christmas Bazaar. We also run book and clothes sales. At these events we raise money towards maintaining Playgroup, paying for rent and buying new equipment. These are times when the whole family can get involved and provide an important opportunity for our spouses and partners to meet each other too!

Birthday Parties
Playgroup is available for rent for your child's birthday. It's the perfect space for a party and when you get home your house is just as you left it!! Please contact us by email to info@sitgesplaygroup.com for prices.

The decision to stay home with my new baby girl was an important one and I really enjoyed taking care of her. However, as the months passed I found it becoming more and more monotonous and a bit boring. Sitges Playgroup was a wonderful place I found to meet other moms, share experiences and ideas and just have a laugh. I loved meeting all the different people from so many parts of the world and hearing their stories. For Julia it was a fun place to go with so many little friends, toys, the music time, Halloween and Christmas parties and many other fun activities.
